How we score
The test: open an account with the same test business. Build the same 10-stamp card. Install it on an iPhone and an Android. Time it. Until an app goes through that test, it stays "provisional" and is scored on what the vendor publishes, with a date. Price, support deadlines and languages always come from what's published.
Who gets in
Apps with a native wallet (Apple or Google), multi-location and a published support channel, sold in English-speaking markets. We review the list every quarter.
Unpublished data
If a vendor doesn't publish something, that test scores 1 or 2. Never more. A 0 means the vendor says it doesn't exist, or publishes the worst case.
Each test is 0 to 5. The total is the sum of 11, scaled to 100. A 5 and a 0 mean this:

Data. Then opinion.
Tables and reviews lead with data. Opinion is one line, labelled, at the end of each review. Anything we haven't tested with our own account shows as "not published" or "not timed yet", and the app stays "provisional" until the test ends.
What we don't do
- No vendor pays to be listed or to move up.
- Third-party reviews are context, never score.
- No score changes without a new verification date.
